It’s official, I can finally share the news!  Nicole made me keep it a secret for a little while but she said that once I received my own announcement in the mail that it means the coast is clear.  I got my announcement in the mail today… Nicole and Mike are expecting!

Nicole approached me with the idea she saw of doing a portrait where they write on a wall with chalk to spread the news.  Mike + Nicole = 4!  Four!?  Yup, they’re having twins.  I thought it would be fun to do that photo as a stop-motion video too and it turned out pretty cool.  We rounded out the photo shoot with some variations on the theme as well.  I can only imagine the looks on their family’s faces when they hear the news!

Props to:
Jordan Noel for doing Nicole’s makeup - https://www.facebook.com/MakeupByJordanNoel

Just a little sneak peek for Megan and Stephen’s wedding at Celebrations At The Bay in late November. A little more robust than the usual sneak peek because I wanted them to have a nice group of photos to enjoy over the Holidays! Props to Lee Morton too for doing the photography of the girls getting ready in the morning! His shots are the first few here of the girls getting ready. Lee does sweet videography too, check him out here.

Around here in Baltimore there are plenty of Ray Rice fans, myself among them.  Recently though, I had the opportunity to photograph an engagement portrait for a couple who are both big Ray Rice fans too.  I photographed Chris and Maddy in Fells Point for a bit before heading over to Federal Hill.  While in Federal Hill park they put on their Ray Rice jerseys and we did some shots of them with M&T Stadium in the background.  As it turns out, some of those shots ended up being among their favorites from our session and they couldn’t resist telling Ray Rice.  Chris tweeted Ray Rice and Ray tweeted them a congratulations back!  How cool, and nice, is that!?  To make it even better, the Ravens put the message and my photo in the “Quick Hits” section on their Late For Work blog.

I’ll have pics to share from Chris and Maddy’s engagement portrait session soon, but for now you can check out their appearance on the Raven’s website in my screenshots below.
