The Mansion at Valley Country Club is a cool place… my wife and I looked at it for our own wedding. I’ve photographed there a bunch already, but this was the first time that I was there for an indoor ceremony. Karen is an events planner herself and she really brought out the best the Mansion has to offer. I also enjoyed this wedding for some of the challenges it provided. Timing of the ceremony at that time of year (November) gave us just a little bit of light left to do portraits, and it was pretty cold outside too. Karen and Gene were champs in the brisk air and we nailed some great portraits and soaked up every bit of color the grounds had to offer!
