Late in 2009 I shot a beautiful wedding down at The Inn at Little Washington in Virginia.  The bride and groom had a great string quartet there called the Sage String Quartet!  They played music prior to and during the ceremony, as well as during a “champagne toast” and light hors d’oeuvres hour that followed.  I was immediately impressed with their sound.  They even played a bunch of classical versions of Beatles songs at the bride and groom’s request which sounded awesome.  They are a very professional and polished group.  They were all pretty friendly too so I took a few extra photos of them in case they could use them in the future.  Well, the future has arrived, and as they are currently updating their website they are now using a few photos that I took for them.  Go check out their website if you’re looking for a great strings group for your occasion, or if you just want to listen to some quartet music… they have a “Sounds” page full of sample recordings!

I love how they are using this close up shot I took of the violin on the home page.
